You are now a whopping 21 pounds, 11 ounces, and 30 inches long. This makes you bigger at 9 months than Owen was at one year!
This past month with you was so much fun. You are now sitting up great, unassisted! You love to sit at your little piano and bang away at it. When on your belly, you often push up onto your hands. But we haven't seen you on all fours just yet.
You love the exersaucer now and actually jump in it... a lot!
You love holding your feet/toes... it might be your favorite position, albeit a funny one.
Praise the Lord, you love to cuddle. Daddy and I love it! You are so content just to be held. You give the best "hugs". When you've been sitting/lying down and we pick you up, you usually grab a hold of our necks so tightly as if hugging us hello. It's my favorite.
You are laughing more and more at seemingly unfunny things. It's hysterical when you get going.

You are sleeping better... not great, but better. You are still waking at least once a night wanting to eat. You now sleep with your lovey, Buster, the bear and seem to have bonded with him quite quickly. :) And you still suck on your thumb.
We can see your bottom front two teeth through your gums. And even though they haven't poked through yet, you've been doing great with solid foods. You definitely prefer table foods over pureed baby foods. Owen even snuck you a piece of popcorn (which Mommy quickly fished out of your mouth)! You love snacking on Mum Mums, and Puffs. You're drinking water from a sippy cup and soaking yourself every time.
We introduced you to grass this past month which you seemed completely unphased by. On the other hand, we've discovered you are apparently terrified of animals. The very sight of baby chicks and little lap dogs evokes tears.
You are much more interested in toys now, particularly noisy ones. You reach and grab at everything and get upset if it's taken away.
You also reach up and touch the face of anyone holding you. You touch their face and stare at them intently.
It seems with each month, Owen becomes more and more interested in playing with you. It's funny to watch him and see how he tries to include you in whatever he's doing. If he's building a fort, it's often around you. If he's going to play blocks, it's right beside you. Basically, wherever he is, he prefers that you are close by. He's still a bit rough with you at times, but you are awfully forgiving. :)

You are such a love bug, Marshall man. We don't know what we'd do without you. It's hard to remember what our life looked like without you in it.
