A Girls-Only Weekend

Our girls-only weekend began on Monday, July 11th. My mom has always wanted to spend some vacation time alone with her three girls and has had the privilege (haha) a couple of times in years past. This year we were minus one as Jen was unable to join us. (we missed you Jen!)
Early Monday morning we drove down to OCNJ and stayed at the Port O Call hotel at the end of the boardwalk. We literally dropped our bags in the room and headed to the beach. The weather was absolutely perfect with a constant cool breeze. We sat in our chairs reading and/or napping for 5 hours.  I repeat.... 5 HOURS!  The next morning we were all a little....crispy. But our spirits were still up.. this was a vacation after all!  We hit all the hot-spots: Mack & Manco's, Fudge Kitchen, Shrivers, and Kohrs. And spent the rest of our trip by the pool with a significant amount of SPF in use.  :)
